 Evaluation, policy on grading, academic integrity

Evaluation

  • Assignments will account for 20% of your grade;
  • Midterm exam will account for 20% of your grade.
  • Final exam during the exam period will account for 60% of your grade.

Both exams are in-person close book. There will be a supplemental exam which counts for 100%. Students with marks of D, F or J have no option of doing additional work to upgrade their mark.

Policy on grading

No late homeworks will be accepted without an acceptable excuse which includes written supporting documentation. Any regrade requests must be requested within 10 working days of the day in which the item is ready for picking up; after the 10 working days have elapsed, regrade requests will not be accepted.

Academic integrity

All graded work must represent your own efforts only. McGill University values academic integrity. Therefore, all students must understand the meaning and consequences of cheating, plagiarism and other academic offences under the Code of Student Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures.
