Julia, Chrystal and I worked together to create a Tableau presentation to represent growing trends in the Canadian real estate market. We identified key areas of population growth, inflation in housing prices, and up-and-coming areas of Canada that are worth investing in.
Our task was to create a narrative using Tableau visualization software. We looked at the real estate trends, identified areas where growth was likely to be high, and looked at regions that are likely worth investing into.
Using Tableau
Tableau was a new software to all three of us. It has a learning curve, but is an extremely powerful visualization tool. It allowed for the creation of dynamic, interactive charts and diagrams. The most impressive feature was its ability to link different databases of data together and allow us to easily manipulate and filter large sets of information.
