Internship Overview:

We invite a driven student to join our team for a pivotal project aimed at automating and enhancing the media editing process. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop AI solutions that detect and correct disfluencies, outliers, and rambling in multi-language content, significantly reducing manual editing time and improving content quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop AI algorithms to detect disfluencies, outliers, and rambling across multiple languages, enhancing editing efficiency.
  • Integrate these AI solutions into our existing platform, ensuring seamless user experiences and real-time editing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to benchmark and optimize the performance of the AI solutions against diverse datasets.
  • Provide innovative ideas for automating other aspects of the audio editing process, contributing to the continuous improvement of our platform.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a program in Computer Science, AI, or a related field at McGill University.
  • Proficient in Python and familiar with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with NLP and LLMs; speech synthesis experience is a plus.
  • Background in speech synthesis or similar speech-related machine learning tasks is a strong plus.
  • JavaScript skills are advantageous.
  • Experienced with multilingual content and AWS technologies.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are beneficial.
