Casual Research Assistant for a project working on vehicular networking research needs a temporary research assistant for a

short assignment. In this project, the candidate will be required to apply machine learning modelling 

to vehicular networking scenarios to accurately track the vehicular locations. This capability would be 

used to schedule data transfers, task assignments, or even issue drive assist directives to the vehicles.

The system would run at the edge computers that are situated along the roads. This is an ongoing 

project and the candidate will be required to play a role in the modelling problem.

Qualifications: The candidate must have at least a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and be familiar with vehicular networks, machine learning, edge computing, etc.

Start date:  June 19, 2019

Salary: $30 p/h plus 4% vacation pay, 3.6% in lieu of holidays

Not to exceed 200 hours
