About Me

I am a PhD student in Cyber Physcial Lab in School of Computer Science in McGill University. My supervisors are Xue Liu and Xiao-Wen Chang. I currently finished the initial submission of my thesis and expect to graduate before December 2012.

My thesis is titled "Dynamic Resource Allocation Scheme Design for QoS control in Networked Real-Time Systems". I have designed several algorithms to provide QoS guarantees in the networked real-time systems, including processor utilization control in the distributed real-time systems, the performance management in the server clusters, and the network scheduling algorithm design in networked control systems.

I have wide interest in QoS control in distributed and real-time systems, e.g., the power management and response time control in the server clusters, utilization control of the computing resources in parallel and distributed systems, real-time scheduling, the network delay analysis and network scheduling design for AFDX network, real-time ethernet.
