Side Projects

Below are brief descriptions of the various independent and class projects I have worked on. All projects are available for download upon request. FractalFX

FractalFX is a program for generating Mandelbrot fractals of different colours and various Julia fractals. Created for my COMP 206 class, this program uses a GUI developed in Python and the calculations done in C. By entering different fields a random Mandelbrot or Julia fractal can be created. Cream

Cream is an economic simulation that investigates two popular forms of carbon trading, Cap and Trade and Baseline and Credit, using Zero Intelligence Traders. This project was an independent study project under Prof. Jim Engle Warnick of McGill university. This project is completely done in Java and full simulations can be run with readily available statistics. Click on the banner above for more information.




Historical Discourses 2008

This Historical Discourses journal brings together the best essays in the McGill Undergrad History department for 2008. Completely student run, this journal tries to cover various historical focuses while keeping the quality of writing as high as possible. My contributions as Chief Layout Editor for the journal was to design layout and compile the essays for publication.
