I worked as a casual research assistant in the Reyes-Lamothe Lab (Dept. of Biology) at McGill University for a year and a half. My wet lab project was to express a fluorescent protein in E. coli. My dry lab project was to write a MATLAB script to track fluorescent proteins over time in order to estimate the binding kinetics for specific subunits of DNA polymerase.
