Taiwan has thirteen airports, only 5 of which handle international flights, and then mostly only to Japan, Korea, and China. Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) is the only airport in Taiwan that schedules flights out of Asia, and is located about an hour's drive west of Taipei.
