Bert Oldfield is struck in the head by a delivery from English fast bowler Harold Larwood in the 3rd Bodyline Test cricket match in Adelaide, Australia, 1933. Oldfield sustained a fractured skull and concussion in this incident, which almost led to rioting by the Australian crowd however Oldfield admitted that this was his fault as the injury was caused by the ball deflecting off the bat into his head.
