Quantum phenomena may have macroscopic counterparts

Inge S. Helland

abstract: From various points of view it is argued that one may find phenomena similar to the quantum effects also in macroscopic cases. This forces one to give up as a general requirement the assumption of realism as formulated by Gill and others. For any potential set of experiments on a limited set of units, we find it useful to introduce for these units the concept of a total parameter, a set of parameters which is so large that a joint value is meaningless.
