Hours:                          33.75

Hourly Wage:               $22.83 (Plus 4% vacation pay and compensation for Legal Holidays) 

Duration:                      1 month (asap) (possibility of extension)

Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent may perform some of all of the listed tasks with minimal complexity and precise instruction.


  1. Greets clients such as students and professors and answers specific inquiries with a positive attitude. This includes detailed information (via email, telephone or in person) regarding programs, registration and services offered. Some inquiries may require further research into the information requested.
  2. Assists with collection of exams, delivers to exam office.
  3. Schedules appointments with students and meetings when required.
  4. Assists with room bookings.
  5. Processes data (student application forms, registration, transcripts) as required.
  6. The list of functions outlined above is representative and not a complete and detailed list of tasks which may be performed by an incumbent. For example incumbents may be asked to perform some elements of Office Assistant level “A” tasks in addition to the above listed functions.


High School diploma with one year of relevant experience in the field of work.


Client-focused with a proven ability to provide excellent customer service to a variety of clients (academics, students, administrators). Demonstrated ability to clearly receive, retain and communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to draft correspondence and accurately proofread documents using appropriate spelling, grammar, and formatting. Demonstrated ability to provide support for various administrative activities. Proven ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem-solve and organize work. Resourceful and able to perform under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail. Experience with website editing and maintenance. Strong computing skill with ability to work in a PC environment using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Minerva an asset. English and French (spoken and written).
