Internet Designer/Developper at CSLP (Concordia)

The creative development team at the CSLP is looking for an Internet Developer. The CSLP, which stands for the Centre for the Study of Learning and Performance, is a Concordia University research group making interactive, non-commercial, educational tools for students, in use all across Canada (as well as speckled around the world). We work in a friendly, flexible environment that is conducive to learning.

Here are the skills we use in our projects:
  • Flash Animation, ActionScript
  • PHP, MySQL
  • XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax
  • Illustration, Print Media, Photography, Interface Design
  • Adobe and Macromedia Products

We are looking for someone who can jump in and help us with ActionScript and PHP. If you are practiced and confident in either (or both!) of those, we'd like to hear from you. We're searching for a creative, organized person, personable and good in both small teams and alone, with clear communication skills, and a good knowledge of English (French is an asset). If you have a relevant degree or certificate and two years of relevant work experience (preferably), we will welcome your application to the position!

This is a full-time position, available immediately, until August 2008, with the possibility of renewal. Part-time work can also be discussed. To apply, forward your cover letter, resume, and links to your work (web sites, projects, samples of code) and salary expectations to Catherine Lebel
