COMP- 655: DISTRIBUTED SIMULATION

Course Summary

The course covers the synchronization and load balancing techniques involved in building parallel discrete event simulations for execution on distributed and parallel platforms (a cluster of workstations or a parallel machine). We emphasize application areas, notably distributed VLSI simulation and n-body simulations (cosmological simulations).
