2009 Winners of the Undergraduate Research Excellence Prize
The 2009 edition of the SOCS Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium was held August 31st. It was a a great success, with a total of 17 well-prepared and professionally-delivered presentations.
The winners of the 2009 Undergraduate Research Excellence Prize are:
- 1st Prize
- Volodymyr Kuleshov: Designing Efficient Markets
- Guillaume Saulnier-Comte: Seizure Detection Using Behavior Analysis
Jean-Philippe April: Friction Simulation Using Gauss-Seidel-like Algorithm for Animation
The 3 winners have been invited to represent SOCS at the Faculty of Science Undergraduate Research Conference.
