McGill 2nd in ACM Programming Competition
Team places 2nd in ACM Northeastern Preliminary North American Collegiate Programming Competition
McGill's ACM programming team is off to a great start this year, placing 2nd overall in the ACM Northeast Preliminary North American Collegiate Programming Competition. There were 18 teams in the competition, with an MIT team taking the top prize; McGill beat out the rest of the competition, including Harvard's team and a second MIT team. Last year, MIT was ranked 4th worldwide and Harvard 45th.
With this win, the McGill team advances to the regional finals, to be held in Rochester, NY, which will give them a chance to qualify for the world finals, which will take place at the University of Alberta.
Congratulations to team members Eric Dallal, Samuel Gélineau and Scott McMurray!
