The Chacoan builders supported Threatening Rock with a masonry terrace in about
1050, but it continued to "talk" and despite warnings from rangers to the Parks
bureaucracy it fell in Jan. 1941 onto a section of the pueblo which had been
excavated in the 1920s.

Two stories of ceiling rafters. You can just see the end of one of the "vigas"
that support them underneath at right angles. The logs came by manpower from the
Chuska Mountains, 40 miles to the west.
