You may have noticed that, other than my failed test post, I haven't written on this blog in a while. In fact, it's been over a year since my last post. A lot has happened in that year, which is more accurately detailed in my Personal Blog. I haven't coded much in that time, which is unusual for me, because I've been coding for most of my life! But I've decided to ease myself back into it with some more work on pyBlag.
As you have probably guessed by now, I've added a post submission feature to pyBlag. As with the rest of pyBlag, it's simple, dirty, and effective. You can actually try to submit a post right now, if you like. You'll fail, but you can try.
The next issue I need to tackle in pyBlag is post storage. I've always known that flat files would be a temporary solution, and I can't help but worry that the slow loading time of this page has to do with how long it takes to parse individual entries. I still need to think about how best to integrate this with my current code; it may yet be another year before I have a functioning database behind pyBlag. But we'll see what happens.
