KDE Development News

I first started writing these brief weekly summaries as filler for the often empty KDE development news section of one of my favourite Linux publications, Linux Weekly News. The summaries have since been published weekly on the KDE News Page, LinuxToday as well as Linux Dev.Net but the style of the blurbs still closely and shamelessly follow the LWN-style.

So far, these blurbs have been nothing more than summaries of the kde-devel mailing list with an occasional contribution or plug from a KDE developer. I have not provided detailed coverage of the many KDE applications updated or released weekly, the high amount of CVS activity, nor even coverage of the other KDE development lists (koffice, kfm, kde-art, etc).
