I'm currently working as a code monkey for Morgan Stanley. Last year, I finished my Master's at McGill University (supervised by Doina Precup). I hail originally from Bucharest, Romania, but have since relocated to Montreal (with an intermediate stop in Ottawa). Despite popular belief, it was not for the weather.

In my past life as a research nerd, I was interested in learning approximate predictive representations of partially observable models, taking in consideration the agent's interest in the world. More on that on the research page.
