Since January 2009 I have worked at Google Zurich. Until December 2008, I was as a computer graphics phd student at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Saarbrücken, Germany. I spent six months on a research 'stage' in Grenoble, France with the ARTIS group. For a year and a half before that, I was doing much of the same at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

My research interests are visual: perception, artistic techniques, motion, photography. I am motivated by experiences, media and art in the real world.
