Rachel Potvin is a SOCS grad (BSc '99) and past President of the McGill chapter of the ACM. An anglophone from Kanata, Ontario, Rachel fell in love with Montreal during her time at McGill and after graduation chose to take a job in a French environment at Ubisoft Montreal. There she helped develop successful games such as Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, first as a programmer and eventually as Technical Project Leader in the Portable Consoles Department. After 6 happy years at Ubisoft, Rachel left this fall to pursue an MBA at Universite de Montreal's HEC, where she fits a hectic course load around regular games as right wing for her recreational hockey team, the Montreal Maroons.
