I am in my final year of my Masters degree under the joint supervision of Prof. Doina Precup and Prof. Jörg Kienzle. Together with Adrian Ghizaru, we aim to create a feeling of immersion in MMOG's by having player avatars continue to perform goals while the human player has disconected.

Aritificial Intelligence, Cognition, Games, Human-Computer Interaction, and Software Engineering.

Personal Interests

My hobbies include playing badminton, bridge, chess, poker, and volleyball. I am also an avid Montreal Canadiens fan. With my friends I often go to movie theatre or just vegetate playing computer games.

I also enjoy organizing and competitng in various programming competitions, and just last year, qualified for the regional finals for the ACM ICPC.

News (14-AUG-07): I have just accepted a job offer from Microsoft Corp., in Redmond, WA, USA, meaning that I will be moving away from home soon. =( Beforehand, I shall spend two weeks in Australia (Sydney and Melbourne) for my cousin's wedding!

News (4-AUG-07): So, today was my last day of work at the Forest and Stream Club, where I was a steward for 14 months.
