President
Andrew Schwartz

I'm in my last year here at McGill majoring in physics and computer science and that is the expression I have on my face at all times. As the president of the council (standing in for David as of January 1 2013) I can probably help y'all find what your looking for in compsci if you're not sure who to talk to. Contact me at andrew.schwartz2@mail.mcgill.ca and we'll have a good time.

VP Academic
Sebastian Dragnea

As the VP Academic, I'm responsible for being the liaison between students and the faculty for any issues regarding academics. If you have any suggestions about changes that can be made to courses or need help with anything academic related, feel free to email me!

VP External
Vikram Sundaram

Hey guys! Im Vik, and I am U1 Computer Science and Mathematics. I am from the far away land of India, but more recently from the not so far away land of Ottawa. I am really interested in any ideas the CS community has, so if you have any ideas give me a shout!

VP Finance
Maxim Gorshkov

Hello sirs, madames, and computer scientists.

It's a great honour to be re-elected as VP Finance for the sixth year in a row. Yep, my time at McGill has been a little long, pulling up to my U6 year in hopes of finally graduating.

Now, being in charge of your money is a little rough. Our bank account only has enough "20s" to fill a small bathtub so "swimming" in it is a little hyperbolic. (See what words you learn after 6 years...)

Well, my goal, along with a lot of you, is to have a productive year. (Where productive = "off da heezy"). See you guys around the many events council has planned this year - especially the bi-weekly Pizza Nights.

Also, if you're wondering... I do take bribes.

Maxim "Cache Man" Gorshkov

VP Internal
Tina Latif

I am in U2 CS & Math, which basically means I'm over-caffeinated and under-slept all of the time (including now!). Originally from Vancouver, I'm just trying to take it one winter at a time.

I am your VP Internal by day, Defender of Trottier by night. This means I plan events and generally lurk around Trottier more than is healthy. If you have any questions/suggestions/internal affairs to discuss, let me know!

CS & Bio Representative
Jordan Metz

Hello everyone! I'm a New York-based (semi-)expatriate of the Biology department who discovered the Joy of Computer Science in first year and decided to make it half of my degree. Now I'm in my U2 year joint-majoring in CS and Bio. I'm happy to share what insight I've gained in this department-straddling program with anyone who may find it useful. I tend to exist around the Trottier, Stewart Bio, and McIntyre Medical buildings. I'm usually distinguishable by my blue "B.Sc. CYBORGS" hoodie, my exquisite selection of fancy hats, or the faint catches of booty-popping bounce music that often trail me.

CS & Math Representative
Adam Drouin

I'm a U3 joint major math and cs student. I prefer cs to math, but still, I like theoretical math (analysis, abstract algebra, etc.) I guess that explains why I like theoretical cs such as algorithms and cryptography! more generally, I like badminton, piano (and music in general ), go (围棋), and video games.

CS Games Representative
Matt Adler

Hi CSUS. Thank you all for voting me into the position of CS. Games Focus Representative. The campaign was long and grueling, but we managed to pull through in the end. I am currently in U2 majoring in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Games. My job on council is basically undefined so I just kinda hangout and help out. Though I do want to have a couple gaming tournaments and set up a help desk by the end of this school year.

Minor Representative
Tara Campbell

but to me, onion, you are
more beautiful than a bird
of dazzling feathers,
heavenly globe, platinum goblet,
unmoving dance
of the snowy anemone

and the fragrance of the earth lives
in your crystalline nature.

Student Liaison
Alex Norton

Hiya,

I'm a U3 Honours CSer, Japanese language minor. Born and raised in Vancouver, you can often find me eating endless amounts of bowl noodles and getting all hot and bothered by game design.

As your student liason I'll ensure your time in McGill CS is as satisfying as possible, so if you have any questions or suggestions or any other sort of estions, get in touch!

President (on sabbatical)
David Cottrell

Not so long ago, I was in the jungle killing snakes, fending off monkeys (they're scarier than they sound, ok…) Then I was in the Pacific paddling away from sea turtles (they bite!) After that, the African Plain (warthogs are NOT cool btw.) Now I'm President of CSUS (and Computer Science RULES!) Enough said.
