About Us
McGill University's Computer Science Undergraduate Society is a student-run organization, currently made up of 11 undergraduate students. The Society represents the student body and all programs, from Joint Honours Statistics and Computer Science to the minor program.
We as a collective aim to better McGill's computer science community by planning events and services for students, ranging from social events such as the Awkward Mixer (joint with math and physics) and regular pizza nights, to helping organize networking events such as the Tech Fair, and academic events such as the Department Fair and Open House for freshmen.
In addition, we are the representatives of the computer science student body to administration, and to SUS, the Science Undergraduate Society. We intend to bridge that gap, and to raise any student concerns and hopefully solve them.
Our purpose is to make the lives of undergraduate computer science students just a little bit more fun (we hope!) and to help out in any way we can. If you have any suggestions or questions, feel free to contact us or drop by our meetings in Trottier 1060 on Wednesdays at 5:30.
