Who We Are

The Computer Science Undergraduate Society is a student-run organization that represents undergraduate CS students to SUS, administration, and the outside world. In addition, we host social and academic events and provide services catered to the student body.

What We Do

Some of the events that we organize throughout the year are the inter-departmental Awkward events, pizza nights, and games nights. In addition, we organize graduating class pictures, departmental hoodie sales, and end-of-year crash courses.

Elections Are Open!

It’s that time of the year: CSUS elctions for the 2013-2014 year! Elections are live now, and are running until Thursday at 6 pm. Try to spare a few minutes between now and then to check your inbox for an email from cro@mcgilleus.ca and cast your votes (yay democracy)!

If you’re confused about what the different positions are responsible for, check out the elections page for a summary of all council positions and make an informed decision!

CSUS Elections

Interested in joining CSUS next year? Elections are happening soon, and all positions are available (execs and reps). If you’re interested in running, we’ll be having an information session on March 20th during our meeting (5:30 in Trottier 1060) where we’ll explain more about what each position entails, answer any questions, and distribute nomination forms. If you’re interested in joining CSUS next year, it’s important that you attend this information session. For more information on the positions, see some linked page with some information.

The Awkward Semi-Formal

The Awkward Semi-Formal is coming up fast, and tickets are almost sold out! Don’t miss what will surely be the most fun event of the year. The Semi is being held on March 15 at Espaces des Arts. Tickets are $25 for in-department, and $35 otherwise. For more information, check out the Events page!
