Archibald Haddock (123456789) COMP-202A, Section 0 (Fall 2010) Instructor: Cuthbert Calculus Assignment 1, Question 1 a) Naming conventions regarding variables, methods, classes, and files are strict for two reasons: 1. Choosing meaningful identifiers makes the program easier to read for humans. 2. Graders may use automated test programs to test student submissions for errors as part of the grading process. These test programs expect files, classes, and methods to have certain names. If a student's submission uses different names than those described in the assignment specification, the graders' test programs will not work with that student's submission, thus making the grader's task harder. b) Students who think their assignment submission was graded unfairly and want their grade changed should contact the head teaching assistant. For the Fall 2010 term, the head teaching assistant is Amin Ranj Bar. c) The statement is false; myCourses does not allow students to edit or add to their submissions for an assignment once the due date for that assignment has passed. [Note: If you forget to submit part of your assignment and it's after the due date but before the cut-off date, please e-mail your instructor for persmission to submit to the Problem box for that assignment.]
