Welcome to Carlton Davis home page.

I received my Ph.D. from the School of Computer Science, McGill University in February 2007. The title of my thesis is "Security protocols for mobile ad hoc networks". My thesis supervisor were Prof. Claude Crepeau and Prof. Muthucumaru Maheswaran. I am currently working as Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Computer and Software Engineering, École Polytechnique de Montréal.

My research interest is generally in system and network security, with emphasis on botnets mitigation, malware analysis, wireless ad hoc, local area and wide area networks security, and RFID security.

Before returning to McGill to pursue my Ph.D., I worked for Network Associates, in Santa Clara, California as a Security Engineer, and as a System Manager at Bell Canada, in Montreal.
