i heard a couple of the unicorns dongs and i fell in love with them. They just sing pretty cool songs and the lyrics are cool but in a weird way. I have a cd by the unicorns i haven't heard all of it but so far i like it so far i hope they're more successful!

i just saw islands at the bottleneck in lawerence, they were awesome, but there was one problem, nick was depressed, or sick with mono.
i asked the barry player what was wrong, and he said its just some stuff and not to worry about it, but one of my friends was sure that he had mono.
I personally ws not affected by his saddness, because it was still the best concert ever, even if they were dead silent in between songs, didnt do anything whacky that they usually do during their concerts, or smile very much.
i got to talk to and get an autograph from both Nick Diamonds and J'aime Tambeur (im only 15 so an autograph is a big deal). I knew i was going to buy a shirt, but they didnt have the correct size, so i got a women's medium.
i even got a picture with all of them except for jaime and nick.
that was the greatest weekend id ever had, becasue i got to meet the people ive always dreamed of meeting, and that was the best thing ever.

i am a huge unicorns fan, and while i was watching tv yesterday it was brought to my attention that actress Taryn Manning and her best friend Tara Jane have started a clothing line which they call "Bornuniqorn". When i saw this i was very concerned for the band's rights as one of my favorite songs, "I was born a unicorn" is by the unicorns. i don't know if anyone wants to look into this, but i am kind of mad about it.

Well......I jsut wanted to share that i moved into an apartment building in the middle downtown of my small tourist town.....and on my answering machine the song I am a unicorn is the message so when people try to ring to let them up and i dont answer..... the song blasts so loud... i really dont know why its so loud but it pretty much rules at life...... and yes i also like to play the joke of ringing myself before i come into the building (as i did about 10 mins ago) then i answer my phone and ill say into the speaker... "hey your fat" or like can you rub my weenis?" (<---elbow skin) its actually quite nice (get soemone to lick it) but yeah i know im kinda weird.....but sometimes not really....alden if you ever read this just add me and we can talk of wonderful excellentness

I wonder if any of these people have actually realized that this band (unfortunately) is broken up and will sadly not be playng any shows anywhere in their city or in any. I just wanted to bring this to light so that everyone will stop saying "come play in my city blah blah blah etc." because that just makes me go around and look up info to see if by any small but amazing chance that they are back together and they never are and i'm just ready to die because they never are but i always check. There's always hope though, right? PLEASE GOD!!! They are all seperately and partly togather in other bands though.Look it up. ISLANDS is one of the other bands that Nicholas is in and they are supposed to do covers of Unicorns songs and also Th'corn Gangg (Nicholas too, hip hop i think) also did cover that weren't too bad.But if they were ever to get back together we can all meet up and do stuff like party and orgy.

Ok weirdest thing ever, i knwo this is going to sound well....strange, or maybe kinda funny depending on who you are, and if you ever had a pet unicorn or not....Well im sitting here this morning listning to the cure and as im serinaded " i kissed you in the water and made your dry lips sing" it brought me back to an embarassing/strange childhood memory.....back in like grade 7 my mom shipped me off to shawnigan lake to attend a bahai art summer course and at this course i had teh hugest grade 7 crush on one of the older students.....he had long red/pink (dyed) hair and was beautiful......i gazed in awe over the two weeks and was sad to leave without saying a word to him......i returned home to all my friends and their storys or boys reaching under their training bras and first kisses and so on.....me being shy and more focussed on other things had nothing of teh sort ...other than the beautifulness i got to daydream about.....so me feeling left out made up a little story: (shortned extremly)
we were swimming after lights out and he came up from teh water and gave me a big kiss...so on so on....
(thats why teh song reminded me)
this was an extreme lie.
anyways i went back the following summer, to my sadness he was not there.......
then here i am 22 now and his name just popped into my head.....and i was on my space and decided to see you know maybe hes on there. to my astonishment he is part of the band i have enjoyed so much....funny story....quite

It's almost discouraging that so many people are still hung up about the death of the unicorns, when they should be excited about the birth of Islands. I loved the Unicorns and I love Alden, but it's all in the past.

But everytime I listen to Jellybones a question springs to my mind: This crazy beginning-sounds, did anyone else notice that it's some samples from a very ancient computer game named "Vampire"? I played it back in '88 or so, I think, on my "Amstrad Schneider CPC".

you guys have completely changed my life, ive listened to your songs so much i know every word to every song on every album without trying. i would literally do anything on earth to see the unicorns live in concert. also, at my school, there has been a unicorns revolution, and a lot of people love your music.
