B.Sc. Liberal, Majors and Honours Programs

Liberal Programs

The B.Sc. Liberal program is a great way to combine a core of Computer Science or Software Engineering with a breadth option which could be a minor or major concentration from a wide variety of areas. As just one example, if you are interested in studying Computer Science or Software Engineering and also preparing for medical school or life science interdisciplinary studies, you could combine your Computer Science Core Science Component with the Interdisciplinary Life Sciences Minor .

Major Programs

Honours Programs

Joint Majors and Honours Programs

Minor Programs for students who are not majoring in Computer Science

Second Programs available to all Science Students

Students may add a second program to their major. This may be a minor, minor concentration or major concentration.

Computer Science programs offered as part of a Bachelor of Arts degree - B.A.

There are major concentrations in both Computer Science and Software Engineering. Within a B.A. degree you have the opportunity to combine these major concentrations with a wide variety of other minor or major concentrations available to Arts students, such as Anthropology, Economics, Geography, Psychology, Linguistics, Philosophy, Mathematics, International Development Studies and much more. If you prefer more focus on Computer Science, you can combine the Major Concentration in Computer Science with a Supplementary Minor Concentration in Computer Science, which gives you a program very similar to the B.Sc. Major.

Computer Science and Related Programs for the B.A.&Sc.

There are 36-credit major concentrations in Computer Science and Software Engineering with a lot of flexibility. You may combine these major concentrations with a wide variety of other minor or major concentrations from Arts such as Anthropology, Economics, Geography, Psychology, Linguistics, Philosophy, Mathematics, International Development Studies and much more.
