Room BookingsMost room booking requests will be handled via the web at http: www.cs.mcgill.ca/reservations. If a given room appears to be free on the date/time you require, simply book the room on line; you will receive an email confirmation of your booking. This process will apply to all of the following rooms. Exceptions to this process are noted below under "Exceptions".
Computer labs and Break-out Rooms:Requests for computer labs and break-out rooms located on 3rd floor of Trottier
Seminar Rooms (103 and 320):Priority for booking our two Seminar Rooms is given to our 600 and 700 level graduate courses and to some of our undergraduate courses, as necessary. Only after the add/drop period has passed, will it be possible to confirm requests for regular weekly or daily meetings.
SOCS lounge (Room 321):As was decided at one of the Academic Staff meetings, the use of the lounge as a meeting space should be:

This room is available for individual administrative or research meetings.
Tutorials and Exams:Requests for rooms specifically for scheduled tutorials, in-department and mid-term exams should be emailed to ugrad.secretary AT cs.mcgill.ca.
Oral Defenses, Area Proposal Exams and Progress Committee MeetingsRequests for rooms for these purposes should be emailed to grad.secretary AT cs.mcgill.ca
Reserving other rooms belonging to other departments in our building:Reserving other rooms belonging to other departments in our building (i.e. CIM's or ECE's) is sometimes possible. Please keep in mind however that we cannot guarantee a room for last-minute requests.
