Come find out about Computer Science and Software Engineering
Come to the McGill open house, pick up some material from the School of Computer Science (SOCS) desk in the William Shatner Student Centre, and get a chance to talk to profs and current students. While you're there, check out the other activities SOCS is offering.
Tour of the Trottier Building:
Come visit our state oft the art undergraduate teaching building. You'll see:
- Posters from the undergraduate research projects done by our students.
- Prof. Greg Dudek will introduce you to some live robots.
- You'll get a chance to experience the Mammoth project, a massively multiplayer game research framework.
Are you a new or prospective student?
- Sign up on McGill-in-Mind and select Computer Science and/or Software Engineering under the Faculty of Science as your "favourite programs."
- Visit our information for prospective students.
Are you a current student?
- Come and volunteer to show off your research. Explain to the world (interested students and their parents) why you think computer science is cool!
- Come and help us plan!
