Funding Opportunities for Undergraduate Students
Funding Opportunities for Graduate StudentsThere are a number of scholarships available to incoming graduate students. The School of Computer Science offers very competitive funding to its graduate students, even if they have not won a scholarship. Most applicants who are admitted to our Ph.D. program will be offered funding taken from various sources including individual professor's research grants, teaching assistantships and lab consultants. Since the outcomes of fellowship competitions are often not determined at the time of acceptance, such offers will be modified when a student is later successful in obtaining a fellowship prior to enrollment. The average funding for Ph.D. students who entered our doctoral program during the past two years (2005 and 2006) has been well over $20,000 per year. All applicants to our M.Sc. programs will be automatically considered for funding.
