Undergraduate Summer Research Awards

The application deadline has now passed. Good luck!

The School of Computer Science offers undergraduate students the opportunity to work on research projects supervised by a faculty advisor, under the auspices of the NSERC summer undergraduate research award program. Undergraduate research is often the highlight of a student's learning experience. The student is paid to stretch their imagination, and test their ingenuity and creativity. At the same time, they learn valuable problem formulation and presentation skills which will be useful in any career. Students interested in taking part in this program should contact faculty members with whom they might like to work. For participation in the summer of 2008, applications must be submitted to the Trottier Office, room 2060 no later then Friday, February 29, 2008.
