L'INstitut TRansdisciplinaire d'Information Quantique (INTRIQ) is holding a workshop on the Physical Implementations of Quantum Information in Val David, about one hour north of Montreal. The workshop will bring together world-leading researchers in quantum optical and solid state approaches to quantum computing. In addition to local participants, the speakers will include David Di Vincenzo (IBM), Joseph Emerson (Waterloo), Mark Eriksson (Madison), Philippe Grangier (Paris), Daniel Loss (Basel) and Chris Monroe (Maryland).
INTRIQ is a network of Quebec-based quantum information researchers sponsored by FQRNT.
