The objective of this conference is to encourage scientific exchange within the scientific computing community in Québec and further afield. The program includes two short courses offered by international experts, as well as a contributed poster session. Basing their decision upon the submitted abstracts for the posters, the organizers will invite a limited number of contributing authors to give a 15 minute oral presentation. Prizes will be awarded for the best poster and oral presentation. Students and post-doctoral researchers are especially encouraged to participate. Some financial support is available for out-of-town participants.
Short Courses:
Donald Estep. Colorado State University, USA
Duality, Adjoint Operators, and Uncertainty in a Complex World
and
Christoph Schwab, ETH Zurich, Switzerland
Numerical Methods for Operator Equations in High Dimensions
There is no fee to attend, but registration is mandatory. Deadline for abstract submission and registration requests is March 16, 2007.
